And the Survey Says ...


A recent Harris Interative Poll published in made the following findings:  

  • Only 35 % of adult Americans currently will or other type of estate plan 
  • Nearly 73% believe that the current economic downturn has made it even more difficult to plan for the future 
  • 44% of Americans that do not have estate planning documents cite a greater focus on the “essentials” right now (e.g. paying bills, buying groceries, etc.) as the reason 
  • Nearly one in five Americans believe they don’t have enough assets to create an estate plan
