Rich Petrofsky is a St. Louis, Missouri attorney.  Rich has extensive experience in the areas of estate and wealth transfer planning (including planning for same-sex couples and LGBT individuals), elder law and Medicaid planning, probate and estate administration, business law, succession planning, business formation and operation, tax law and asset protection planning. 
In his estate, wealth transfer planning, and elder law practice, Rich works closely with individuals and families to craft comprehensive and customized plans. These plans have helped clients and their families address life issues, deal with death, resolve conflict, and leave a legacy.
 

Rich also works closely with business owners in all aspects of their business affairs, such as choosing the appropriate type of business entity, formation issues, tax matters, contract drafting, employment issues and business succession planning.

A native St. Louisan, Rich, completed his undergraduate degree in business at the University of Missouri - Columbia and then graduated Order of the Coif from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law where he served as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Missouri Law Review.  After graduating from law school, Rich continued his education and earned a LL.M. Degree from Washington University School of Law which is a Master of Law Degree in Taxation.  Rich is a member in good standing with the American Bar Association, the Missouri Bar and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
